We offer no warranties whatsoever that the service will be operating and available to you at any time. Your data could also be deleted or lost, without warning or reason, at any time.
YOU SHOULD NOT RELY ON SEAQUER TO STORE IMAGES OR SOUNDS WHICH ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU BUT SHOULD DOWNLOAD AND STORE SAFELY USING OTHER MEANS.

Seaquer is a platform for sharing what you notice and how you react to what you notice and then converting what you share into knowledge to help care for community spaces. Content which could be considered harmful to anyone - child or adult - has no place on the Seaquer platform and we have low thresholds as to what could be considered harmful.
We already have full, community-based moderation in place to identify and filter out any shared Vibes (uploads) which Moderators think are OR MIGHT BE harmful or illegal and are currently also implementing algorithms to automatically scan all Vibes (posts & uploads) for potentially harmful or illegal content at point of upload; any which are OR MIGHT BE be considered such will be blocked. We are not implementing age verification because WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY CONTENT WHICH MIGHT BE HARMFUL TO BE SHARED THROUGH THE APP.
THE ACCOUNTS OF ANY USERS UPLOADING MORE THAN THREE VIBES WHICH MIGHT BE HARMFUL WILL BE SUSPENDED: IF IN DOUBT - JUST DON'T UPLOAD.
Seaquer is designed as a Platform to enable Communities to collect and share information and data. We do not offer secure image, sound or data storage services.
WE REPEAT: Seaquer is NOT a secure image, sound or messaging platform. And the way we store your images and sounds is designed to enable easy sharing, not to ensure security. You should NOT therefore use Seaquer to handle images and sounds which need to be protected by strong security standards. We do not offer that protection.
When you upload mood, notes, images and sound recordings, we will analyse them to extract data about what you have noticed and your reaction to it. The resulting data is combined with data from other Vibes to produce analysis about the local community. THE ANALYSIS WILL NEVER BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.
We need your email address to send you a code to verify your account, to send you system messages - such as password resets - and to send you Reflections for Groups you joined.
We cannot control whether or not you include information which could personally identify you when you vibe (upload images, sounds, locations, notes and 'moods') but we ask and recommend that you do not.
We do not collect any other data about you. We do not collect data about your application usage.
This information is stored in a database running on the Google Cloud infrastructure.
Your image and sound files are given a filename of random letters and characters and then uploaded to an AWS S3 'bucket' or other cloud storage service, as required. This 'bucket' is necessarily open to public acccess so that we can share your images and sounds.
That means than your image and sound files are not protected, other than by a long, random filename. YOU SHOULD NOT UPLOAD SOUND AND IMAGE FILES UNLESS YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH AND ACCEPT THIS VERY LOW LEVEL OF PROTECTION..
Your email address is never included in any data analysis and will never be shared with any other organisation.
Your Vibe files will be passed through multiple machine learning engines and analysed in many other ways to extract as much data about the content contained in the image and sound files as possible. They may be re-analysed at any time as new techniques become available.
The Data so extracted is then combined with data extracted from other, shared Vibes and fed back into AI engines to identify trends, raise alerts when required and produce reports. These reports, alerts and the underlying data are made widely available to users both the Seaquer App and via email alerts and news.
In using Seaquer, you are giving us permission to so analyse notes, moods, image and sound files you upload and to distribute the same. YOU SHOULD NOT UPLOAD SOUND AND IMAGE FILES UNLESS YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH AND ACCEPT THIS.
Our main web site (this web site) does not any drop any cookies or use any web analytics package which tracks you. Specifically, we have not and will not be implenting any commercial, advertising services on our web site or within our apps.
The Apps do all store a small amount of information on your device to prevent you from having to login every time you open the App or visit the Web App. If you do not want this information to be stored on your device, simply log-out and the data will be removed. We do not drop any other cookies on your device. Specifically, neither our App not our Web site drops any cookies or 'markers' from any commercial analytics, tracking or advertising services.
When you log-in to Seaquer, you are giving us permission to place this essential information on your device. When you log-out, you are revoking this permission and removing all the information we have put on your device.
We do not analyse your use of Seaquer in any way and do not offer any information about your use to any third parties or give any third party any opportunity to harvest that data.
The only data that we store about you is your email address and the Vibes that you have uploaded. All this data is available through the App - go to the account tab (log in and click the head icon, on the lefthand side) to view your Vibes.
To delete a Vibe and all of the image, sound, location and note data linked to it, find the Vibe and open in the Viewer. Click the red trash icon. The Vibe and all linked data wll be immediately deleted from our database and from the AWS S3 bucket. Please note, however, that people may have downloaded your images and sound and we cannot affect that. We also cannot remove your vibe data from reports and alerts that have already been generated. We also cannot remove a Vibe from individual devices until the device logs in again.
To delete your account, go to settings in the App (top right menu button and select 'Settings'), scroll down to the bottom and follow the instructions. Or send us an email, from the email address linked to the account, to [email protected] and ask us to delete your account.
When you delete your account, we immediately deactivate your account, scrub your email address, notes, moods and locations and mark your sound and image files for deletion. We cannot delete files which has been downloaded onto other devices.
